How we work
You’ve sent us your CV. What can you expect from us now? From the moment your CV arrives in our candidate database, we manage your search for a new IT job carefully.
If you’ve applied for a specific IT job advert:
Sending your CV:
- As soon as you respond to a job advert that you’ve seen either on our website or through one of our recruitment partner sites, like Career Junction or PNet, your CV is sent directly into our candidate database.
- We receive notification from our database that you’ve responded and will make contact with you – either by email or phone.
- If you are a possible match to the job, we’ll arrange a face-to-face interview with you in our offices.
The Insource.ICT Interview:
- The purpose of this interview is to ensure that you are a match for the position. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask all of your questions about the company and the job available.
- Interview Hints:
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your appointment as you will need to complete the following forms:
- Our Application Form.
- A Kroll Personal Identity Verification Consent Form.
- A Technology Matrix, which lists the technologies that you have worked with and your number of years experience you have in each.
- Please bring the following documentation with you to the interview:
- Copies of your matric and tertiary qualification certificates.
- Your ID book.
- If you are a match for the job, we’ll prepare your CV in our format and will send it through to our client.
The Client Interview:
- Once the client confirms that he would like to interview you, we’ll brief you fully about the company and the job available. This is a good time to ask all of your questions so that you can be properly prepared.
- It’s also a good idea to do some background research on the company. Start with the Internet and read through all of the information that you can find about the company and how they operate.
- Prepare possible questions to ask the interviewer about the company.
More information about interviewing can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions section of this zone
After the Interview:

- Once you’ve accepted the job, you’ll need to sign the Letter of Appointment, which we’ll return to the client as proof of your acceptance.
- We’ll confirm your starting date and will be available to assist you with resignation from your current position.
