Q: Where is Insource.ICT located?
Our head office is based in Midrand. Most of our branches are here. Our Coastal Division is based in Port Elizabeth. We’re able to place IT people throughout South Africa.
Q: What IT areas does Insource.ICT specialize in?
Our Permanent Division works only on IT jobs, finding and placing IT people at all levels, from junior to senior, and across all IT technology platforms. Among others, we place:
- Developers/ Programmers – All technologies and levels up to Architect.
- Networking/ Infrastructure staff
- IT Project Managers

Q: I have a vacant IT job. How do I register it with you?
You’re welcome to call or email Susan Rousseau, our Client Development Manager. She’ll assign your job to a Consultant who specialises in your technology area.
Q: What do you charge for the placement of IT people?
We work on a contingency basis, meaning that you will only be liable to pay our fee once we have placed someone with you.
Costs vary depending on the seniority of the IT job that you have available. It’s best to contact Susan Rousseau, who will send you a copy of our Terms and Conditions.
Alternatively, if you’ve already spoken to one of our Consultants, you’re welcome to ask them for a copy of the Terms.
Q: Will you advertise my IT job for me?
To fill your IT job, our first step is always to search our large candidate database for suitable matches.
However, if we’re not able to find suitable IT people for you on this database, we will place an advert with one of our Internet suppliers.
At all times, your company’s name and details are kept confidential.
Q: How large is your candidate database?
We have a comprehensively maintained database of over 60 000 IT candidates.
Q: How do I obtain a copy of your Empowerdex certificate?
You’re welcome to call or email Susan Rousseau, our Client Development Manager. She’ll email it through to you immediately.
Alternatively, please ask your assigned Consultant.
Q: What checks do you do on the candidates that you send to me?
We use Kroll to conduct credit, criminal, qualification and South African ID number checks on each candidate submitted. We also obtain written references.
Q: Can you provide me with salary survey information?
Yes. We conduct regular technology based IT salary surveys for our clients. If you’d like further information, please contact our Client Development Manager, Susan Rousseau.
Q: How long does it take to fill an IT job?
It depends on the scarcity of the skill.
Certain areas of IT are more affected by the current skills shortage than others.
If your IT job falls into a skills area that is not too badly affected, it could take as little as a week to fill your job. However, if you’re looking for a high demand skill – like an Architect – it could take a few months.
